Take shade under a parasol

All of the main garden centres and DIY shops such as Wyevale, B&Q and Homebase sell a variety of sizes of parasol for the garden as do High Street retailers such as John Lewis, Argos and Next.

As a rule these are lightweight and the fabric has been treated to be reasonably weather proof and anti rot. Some even have the ability to be tilted allowing for shade all day long as the sun moves around.
